A Look Back at Tim Walz, Scott Jensen, and the 2022 Minnesota Gubernatorial Race
Kamala Harris's running mate bested AFLDS member in 2022
In 2022, Minnesota’s incumbent Democrat governor, Tim Walz, beat Trump-endorsed Dr. Scott Jensen by eight points. Walz would go on to a successful gubernatorial second term, earning praise for his commitment to health issues in the progressive midwest state.
Jensen, a self-identified member of America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS), would spend a lot of time posting videos of himself complaining about the Minnesota medical board on social media. While Jensen’s lawsuit against his state board was dismissed in March of this year (he’s filed an amended complaint), he has, like AFLDS leader Dr. Simone Gold, been able to retain his state medical license.
In light of Kamala Harris’s selection of Walz as her running mate, and Jensen’s appearance Fox News shortly thereafter to disparage his former opponent, I’ve published a new piece for WhoWhatWhy.
In addition to Jensen’s involvement with AFLDS and World Doctors Alliance, which I discuss in the article, I would point out that Karam Bales (Counter Disinformation Project) has written about Jensen’s involvement in the South African-based Pandata, as revealed in the UK HART leaks.
