Bhattacharya for the CDC? No.

There has been understandable anxiety in light of Trump announcing that he will let anti-vaxxer RFK Jr. “go wild on health” in his second administration. In addition to the talk of him elevating Drs. Marty Makary and Joseph Ladapo in the “MAHA” overhaul of federal scientific institutions, RFK Jr. has also recently posted about the need for Great Barrington Declaration co-author Dr. Jay Bhattacharya at the CDC.

Despite his constant cries of "censorship” since the rebuking of the never viable GBD by the mainstream medical and public health community, Bhattacharya has benefitted from a large platform thanks to his in with big business interests. Of great concern, Bhattacharya appeared in a promotional video for Leonard Leo's Teneo Network, which was created to make a Federalist Society for all things and “crush liberal dominance.” Teneo is a sponsor of the extreme Project 2025 plan for a possible second Trump administration.
