Hopkins Business School to Host Atlas, Bhattacharya, and Makary
We previously discussed the problematic, contrarian heavy pandemic policy conference happening at Stanford next month. Before that, three speakers from the Stanford conference, Drs. Scott Atlas, Jay Bhattacharya, and Marty Makary, are set to speak at a health policy symposium in Washington DC.
This event is hosted by the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, and notably not its prestigious medical or public health schools. As Walker Bragman reported, the lineup is heavy on individuals tied to the Koch network of influence.
I further discuss this Hopkins event for today’s Science-Based Medicine article.
The dangerous anti-science narratives of these contrarians are not something academia should be validating by platforming. This is not about academic freedom or censorship; this is an issue of academic integrity and information safety.
