Dr. Roger Kimber,
I received your email response to a recent newsletter. This is not the first time you have responded to one of my newsletters via email, and you have also attempted to contact me via a Substack direct message where you called me “truly evil.”
I have ignored all of your prior messages but I would like to respond to this latest one publicly and have shared it elsewhere including Twitter/X, Instagram, and LinkedIn. I have also informed your employer (Lancaster General Health has already responded) and will be filing a complaint with your medical board.
I will let the appropriate authorities deal with the death wish you sent me, and will instead offer some advice.
Perusing your Substack feed, you are clearly mainlining misinformation. You repost from some pretty extreme sources — Paul Alexander, Peter McCullough, Meryl Nass, William Makis, Naomi Wolf, Vigilant Fox, etc. You spend quite a bit of time fighting in Substack comment sections and are exactly the reason I generally don’t allow comments anymore. You engage in some pretty radical rhetoric here. Have you considered perhaps limiting your online time? Do your loved ones know about your online habit? Do you have loved ones?
To your point about my content “darkening” your inbox, I think I can help here. Given your advanced age, you may not know that with this new email technology, you can unsubscribe from email lists you are on. You chose to subscribe to my email newsletter and follow me on Substack and you can choose to not do that.
You are sending this sort of disgusting vitriol to a young woman who runs a free account on here and that is really not a good look for you. I’m glad your tenure as Associate Residency Director ended the year after I was born.
You are an embarrassment to medicine. Have the day you deserve.
Most Sincerely,
Allison Neitzel MD
P.S. I will screenshot and post any of your future, pathetic attempts to contact me as an addendum to this post.
7/3 Update: Kimber has responded with a non-apology and citing of more truly awful sources like Ed Dowd and the Died Suddenly conspiracy film. Predictably pathetic.
A rough translation: I am really sorry that I used language that looked so reprehensible when you reposted it. If I had known you would do that, I would have pretended to be more civil. But I was totally right about everything and meant everything I said.
👍🏼Glad you called him out to
his practice affiliations. There are a plethora of these angry and inappropriate people out there.
Wow. That is awful. Good for you for pushing back HARD.
