Dr. Rick Bright exposed the HHS under Trump
The HSSCC exposed Trump's bullying of the FDA and CDC, yet no accountability
The Democrat-led House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis (HSSCC) published three key reports implicating Trump. One discusses the pushing of the Great Barrington Declaration in the White House, another discusses the pressure campaign on the FDA to approve their unproven Covid treatments, and the other discusses the bullying and intimidation campaign they launched against the CDC. These reports are once again available and the links to all three plus their final report are included in the article below.
Website for the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis restored
As we have previously discussed, the website for the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis (HSSCC) chaired by Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) was taken down prior to the launching of the current House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic
The new book “Lessons Learned From the Covid War” mentions Dr. Rick Bright’s harassment suffered at the HHS for speaking out against the Trump Administration’s pushing of hydroxychloroquine. While the HHS and Dr. Bright announced they had reached a settlement in August 2021, that does not mean there was not wrongdoing done by the department. The addendums Bright’s lawyers attached to the complaint can be viewed as a 4th crucial report and are available off his lawyers’ website.
He alleges massive existing cronyism at the HHS and leadership that cowered to politics and took part in Trumpian retaliation which included his re-assignment. The complaint was specifically against Dr. Robert Kadlec, Trump’s Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services (Preparedness and Response), who routinely ignored Bright’s urging for meetings and action from the department early in the pandemic to counter the virus, pointing out the mask shortage, for example.
Kadlec is former military and as “Totally Under Control” explains, the US’s PPE shortage was due to military contracts. Trump Advisor Jared Kushner was tasked with dealing with the PPE shortage but instead took secret meetings with sinister figures like Dr. Scott Atlas to push the herd immunity narrative.
While the GOP-controlled answer to the HSSCC - the House Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Pandemic (HSSCP) - hosts fringe political theater, the truth of what was happening behind the scenes in the Trump White House in the crucial early days of the pandemic is being pieced together now. Science-Based Medicine’s Dr. Jonathan Howard, author of the new book “We Want Them Infected”, recently sat down with Dr. Dan Wilson (Debunk the Funk) and discussed Dr. Bright’s case.
Bright’s experience should be compared with that of former CDC expert Dr. Nancy Messonier. As discussed in “Totally Under Control” and in the Washington Post, Messonier spoke out against Trump’s Covid minimization and was met with his wrath and silenced before resigning.
The pieces are out there and just need to be put together but this is a thankless job thanks to the trickle down effect of Trump’s hate and the mountain of funding behind it. Accountability requires action and time and time again no one wants to confront the beast. But if we don’t confront it head on it will destroy us and there has been enough destruction under the Trump Administration. There is already plenty of DOJ action on pandemic fraud. It’s time to fully expose Trump’s.
